We are dedicated to restoring life through God’s grace to women in the Binghamton area in an emotionally and physically safe residence community.
Our Women’s Hope Home provides a residential program to women in crisis. The love of Jesus with our caring home, staff and curriculum has the power to transform challenging circumstances into joy filled and productive living.
Our 7,500 square foot home provides a full floor for addiction recovery and another for women facing an unplanned and unprepared pregnancy. Experienced staff provide constant in-house support and supervision. A commercial kitchen and large group meeting rooms are included. The addiction recovery program lasts nine to twelve months for completion.
Our women participate in morning devotions and discipleship training. The midday is occupied with work/service projects within the home or surrounding community. Evenings are filled with Biblical studies and attendance at local faith-based addiction recovery meetings. Professional Christian Counseling and evaluation is provided and encouraged.
Comparable secular programs can easily cost tens of thousands of dollars. The Women’s Hope Home is provided free of charge to our participants. All housing, food, transportation, supervision and counseling is paid for by fundraising and our generous donors.
The Home is a program for women and is overseen and managed completely by women. Any male interaction only occurs by necessity and from the most senior levels of the Hope Foundation staff. It is our policy that teaching and support is best provided by women, for women, during these sensitive times.
Admission into the program is dependent upon demonstration of need, willingness to participate and the result of an in-person interview. Women directed to the Home by family, friends or significant others without self-motivated commitment by the applicant will be refused. Our concern is directed at the protection, care for and spiritual growth of women seeking change and support.
